FOURIER SERIES A complex voltage waveform contains a fundamental voltage of r.m.s. value 220 V and frequency 50 Hz along with a 20% third harmonic which has a phase angle lagging by $3pi/4$ radian at t = 0. Find an expression representing the instantaneous complex voltage v. Using harmonic synthesis, also sketch the complex waveform over one cycle of the fundamental. For the non-sinusoidal wave shown in Fig. 21.13, determine (a) Fourier coefficients $a_0, a_3,$ and $b_4$ and (b) frequency of the fourth harmonic if the wave has a period of 0.02 second. Find the Fourier series of the "half sinusoidal" voltage waveform which represents the output of a half-wave rectifier shown in Figure 21.14. Find the trigonometrical Fourier series for the full wave rectified voltage sine wave shown in Fig. 21.20. Determine the Fourier series for the waveform shown in Fig. 21.21.
