Given that your network uses solely Cisco routers built within the past 5 years, a description of what needs to be done and/or replaced in order to complete the migration
Added by Alison T.
Step 1
Step 1: Assess Current Network Configuration Review the existing network configuration on all Cisco routers to understand the current setup, including routing protocols, access control lists (ACLs), and any specific features in use. Show more…

Lab time is 3 hours. Required Resources 4 Routers (Cisco 2621xm) (Serial connections between routers) 4 Switches (Cisco 2960) 4 PCs (One PC per LAN representing larger networks. Each PC to receive last available IP Address for it respective network) Ensure connectivity / reach ability to all devices

Using the network diagram Make sure to use the following IP addresses: Router B: Interface connecting to the LAN: 192.168.2.1 Interface connection to Router A: 192.168.3.1 Router A: Interface connecting to Router C: 192.168.4.1 Interface connecting to Router B: 192.168.3.1 Router C: Interface connection to Router A: 192.168.4.2 Interface connecting to the LAN: 192.168.5.1 Router A: Change the hostname to RouterA Set the IP address on Router A interface which is connected to Router B through a serial cable and make sure to enable the interface Set the IP address on Router A interface which is connected to Router C through a serial cable and make sure to enable the interface Configure RIP on Router A. Save changes.
Are these system specifications consistent? “The router can send packets to the edge system only if it supports the new address space. For the router to support the new ad- dress space it is necessary that the latest software release be installed. The router can send packets to the edge system if the latest software release is installed. The router does not support the new address space.”
