II. G0 cells are defined as cells that are not in an active part of the cell cycle. Many adult cells stay in G0 forever; however, most cells can transition into the G1 phase under certain conditions. At a certain point during G1, the cell decides whether to remain in G1 or if it will retreat back into G0. Based on this information, answer the following questions:
A. Give an example of a cell that will not enter the G1 phase (i.e. the cell always remains in G0)
B. For the cells that are in G0 and can enter the G1 phase of the cell cycle, describe how you would stimulate that cell to enter the cell cycle.
C. How would you check that your cell has entered the cell cycle?
