1. Due to being confined, quarks have an uncertainty in their position that is about 0.5 fm in each direction. Use the Heisenberg uncertainty principle for each position/momentum component p to estimate a lower bound on the kinetic energy of a quark inside a nucleon. Compare the result to the nucleon mass times c. For the quark mass, use mq = 10 MeV.
