Blood typing has been used in the past as a forensic tool during crime scene investigations. Today, most forensic scientist use DNA from blood as a means to identify victims and perpetrators. Why would blood typing identification be phased out of forensics? How can blood be used for DNA analysis if red blood cells do not have a nucleus?
