Roanoke Island, North Carolina has also experienced an enormous bloom in its Mus musculus population. These mice exhibit only two coat color morphs; a grey agouti coloration and a solid white coloration. These coat colors are controlled at a single autosomal gene locus, with the agouti allele exhibiting complete dominance; A = agouti. a = white (Assume p = A and q = a).
