It is often understood, by modern human biologists, that the
argument "nature or nurture" is outdated. We now understand that
human beings, just as other animals on earth, are influenced by the
effects of nature and our lifelong experiences (such as our social
relationships, political affiliations, religious beliefs, the food
we eat, physical activity).
For humans, culture significantly impacts our experiences in
life. Skin color is a physical characteristic that comes with
sociocultural experiences. Based on your reading and module
overview, why is race an invalid scientific concept and more of a
social construct? How do we speak, in a meaningful way, about the
range of variation in human physical characteristics around the
globe?
