Label each of the parts of the male reproductive system shown in this diagram. Bladder Spermatogenesis begins in the seminiferous tubules of the testes. The spermatozoa then travel to the epididymis where they mature and are stored. During an ejaculation, the sperm will travel through a long tube called the vas deferens until they eventually reach the ejaculatory duct. Seminal plasma produced by the seminal vesicles are added to the sperm. Additional secretions are then added by the prostate gland and bulbourethral glands as the sperm move past them. The urethra takes the sperm through the penis, where they exit the body.

Trace the pathway of sperm from the testes through the penis, including the accessory glands. Start with the seminiferous tubules. Sperm is produced in the seminiferous tubules and then stored until ejaculation. It then travels through the epididymis, past the seminal vesicles. Within these vesicles, the sperm passes through the ejaculatory duct, which is within the prostate gland. Within this gland, the sperm passes through the urethra to the urethra and finally through the urethra, which is found in the penis.
