Mrs. X is a 25-year-old woman who is alert but confused about time. She has peripheral neuropathy from being a type 1 diabetic in both of her feet. She has not required additional line changes. She has been on bedrest due to her blood pressure. She is able to make position changes on her own and she can lift herself up in the bed independently. Because of her diagnosis, she is currently NPO.
