Photosynthesis Lab Report - Effects of changing light on photosynthesis Purpose - To examine the effects that different wavelengths of light have on plant growth. The results show 0.5 mm of extra growth in the plant covered with red cellophane paper. Can you give me a hypothesis for this lab? And what is the role of carotenoids and chlorophyll in this lab? Does the result make sense? Thanks.

Lab Analysis: Investigating Photosynthesis Discuss how the class average results of the experiment for the effect of different light conditions on photosynthesis compared to your predictions from Table 6-2. Refer to Figure 6-2 to explain why spinach exposed to white light will typically show a higher rate of photosynthesis than in green light. Knowing that photosynthesis involves CO2 uptake, explain why you may have observed an increase in CO2 levels during this experiment, particularly under the dark (no light) condition.

Write a lab report on the scientific method for a Photosynthesis experiment. The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the importance of sunlight in photosynthesis. 1. Introduction a. Background information (define the topic, provide relevant information, etc.) b. Purpose/objective/observation c. Question d. Hypothesis 2. Procedure a. Equipment used and the purpose of their use b. List the procedure (in steps 1, 2, 3, etc.) 3. Results Graph, table, or drawing depending on the procedure itself. 4. Discussion a. Support the hypothesis b. Explain the results c. Conclusion
