Statement 1 When two particles travelling in a straight line in the same direction, have accelerations which are proportional to their velocity (same proportionality constant), there is only one speed for each particle at which the relative acceleration is unchanged. and Statement 2 In the above case, if the relative velocity is zero, relative acceleration is also zero.
