In the conversion of Lactic acid to Glucose, three reactions of the Glycolytic pathway are circumvented. Which of the following enzymes do not participate in such conversion? 1. Pyruvate Carboxylase. 2. Pyruvate kinase. 3. Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase. 4. Glucose-6-phosphatase. 5. Fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase.

Match each enzyme with its respective metabolic pathway: 1. Glycolysis - aldolase 2. Anaerobic fermentation - lactate dehydrogenase 3. Feeder pathway for glycolysis - glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase 4. Pentose phosphate pathway - glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase 5. Galactose metabolism - galactose-1-phosphate uridylyltransferase

In the Cori cycle, when glucose is degraded by glycolysis to lactate in muscle, the lactate is excreted into the blood and returns to the liver. In the liver, lactate is converted back into glucose by gluconeogenesis. For each given enzyme, identify whether it is involved in the glycolysis pathway, gluconeogenesis pathway, both pathways, or neither pathway:
