four individuals who do not board the boat will certainly die.

Using Chapter 5, in your book, answer the
following questions.
Who would you save and how did you come to your
decision?
Is it legal? (Am I breaking the law in deciding who gets saved
and who ultimately meets there life's end?)
Is it fair? (What consequences (if any) do you see your decision
has on the others involved?)
How does your decision personally affect your conscience? (Could
you personally live with this decision? If not, re-examine your
answers to questions)
