All right here, we're talking about introducing a theme for our gifted learners, the theme for the gifted learners in grade r, or we call that kindergarten, or gifted learners.
00:16
So how do we introduce that theme? well, in another video, we talked about maybe creating a committee, right? so we talked about the process of creating a committee, which is where we can separate them into groups, and we can have them.
00:32
Maybe groups of four, if we have 20 kids, we can separate them into groups of four, and have them discuss their, or come up with an idea for the theme, and then they can elect a speaker, and then they can vote on which theme they should go for, and then until you choose it.
00:48
But after that's chosen, how do you introduce it? how do you introduce your theme? well, i would say that the way to introduce it would be with decorations.
01:03
You know, it's changed the environment to look like the theme, right? you want the environment to match the theme.
01:11
Okay, so you can create, of course, all kinds of activities like those decorations can be art activities that the kids themselves now have to undertake, right? and you can take that and you can differentiate it in the same way that we did before with the creating of committees.
01:28
We can say, okay, this group's going to focus on these, these groups are going to focus on those, and so on.
01:34
Right.
01:34
So that would be the first way of introducing the theme to them.
01:37
And then i would say, of course, then you want to create some assignments, right? you want to make some specific assignments that are based off of that theme.
01:49
And i would say that those assignments would most likely need to be project.
01:53
Project based, meaning for instance, suppose your theme was deep sea, right? then you'd want to give them a project of something related to the deep sea...
