Synergists / Fixators / Supinators Question: Muscle or muscles that answer the question: Name any two muscles that stabilize the shoulder joint. This muscle is a synergist in flexion of the forearm and also stabilizes the elbow joint during rapid flexion and extension of the forearm. This muscle, besides being a flexor, supinates the forearm (performs the motion needed to turn a corkscrew and uncork a wine bottle).

Of these muscles, which ones cross more than one joint, and therefore may produce movement in two or more joints? There are more than one and I know Biceps brachii and triceps brachii are part of it, but I think there's one, possibly two more? 1) Biceps Brachii 2) Triceps Brachii 3) Sartorius 4) Coracobrachialis 5) Quadratus Femoris 6) Pronator Teres 7) Brachioradialis 8) Vastus Intermedius 9) Temporalis 10) Pectineus
