The concept map is a useful way to see information in Biology. This project will be the course culminating project, which will demonstrate your knowledge of the Human Body Systems individually and their connections to each other. It should highlight how form follows function and how these systems work to maintain homeostasis in our bodies. This is the final assessment of the course. Feel free to reach out to me for feedback on the draft stages of your project. Have fun with it!

Biology 20: Units C (Cellular Respiration) and D (Human Systems) Summary Project Purpose: Students will appreciate the ... A. Relationship that exists between cellular respiration, and the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, immune, excretory, and muscular systems. B. Structure-function relationship within and between human systems to maximize the effectiveness/efficiency of the process that is occurring. Criteria – Refer to the Biology 20: Assessment Standards handout for Cellular Respiration (General Outcome C2) and Human Systems (General Outcomes D1-4). • This is meant to display your thinking and understanding of the material. Do not simply copy from the textbook, handouts, or online sources. Besides, you likely will not find what I am looking for anywhere anyway! • Must be organized, logical, use colour, and most importantly usable for learning and studying. • This is to be very visual, and displayed in the form of a graphic organizer (Google if not sure what these are) and must very clearly show the relationship within and between human systems. I am not looking for "notes", I want a diagram! You do not need to actually draw what different systems/system components look like – schematic diagrams are acceptable and preferred (again, Google if not sure what these are). • This is a BIG PICTURE summary. I am not looking for all of the details of cellular respiration and the six systems, but rather only with vital connection/relationship that exists within and between cellular respiration and the six systems. • Finally, for each of the systems, clearly state how structures (micro and macroscopic), enhance the process being carried out by that system. Sketch what these structures look like, and describe how the process is enhanced by this structural form that you have sketched. You can work on this together with one other person to plan, organize, brainstorm, and submit a single picture or Google Doc of your work. Self-assess your project, and send me a copy of the Rubric, with comments on strengths/weaknesses – note: if there are any weaknesses, then you likely are not done yet!

Course Name: Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology Q) Choose any system of the human body and prepare a response to the following questions in 1-2 pages (more than 500 words, please): 1. Introduction (Explain the system with the components) 2. Body (Explain how the system relates to achieve homeostasis in the human body) 3. Conclusion (Choose any disease common in KSA and explain how and which part of the system is affected)
