The CRISPR/CAS9 system has been transferred to mammals and other animals and used to edit genes. This is possible for all of the following reasons except the following: CRISPR/CAS9 allows very specific sequence replacement. CRISPR/CAS9 is able to override the immune systems of these animals. CRISPR/CAS9 can be easily inserted into animal cells. Eukaryotic cells have DNA repair mechanisms that CRISPR/CAS9 can take advantage of. Biomolecules-RNA, DNA, proteins-work in virtually the same manner in all organisms.

The advantage of CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing tool is: A. Cas9-mediated DNA breakage occurs for both chromosomes and thus it creates homozygotes quickly. B. Cas9 protein relies on a specific DNA (rather than RNA) as a guide to target gene sequence in the cell. C. Cas9 does not have any off-target concern. D. Cas9 can degrade RNA and protein.
