So first of all, let's talk about what c and g are.

And by er, what i'm referring to is the endoplasmic reticulum.

Now, how do i know which one is which? well, typically, they do really look very similar, but there's a couple things that we can look for to help us know for sure which thing we're looking at.

In the case of the golgi body, one thing you can look for is these little, now we don't see them in this diagram, but these little vesicles coming from it.

Because the purpose of the golgi body or the golgi apparatus is to put these vesicles around things like proteins and extra materials.

So that way they can be transported either across the cell or out of the cell and so forth.

So if you see vesicles coming out of it, chances are it is the golgi apparatus or the golgi body.

The other thing that would lead us to believe that this is the golgi body is the fact that it's away from the nucleus a little bit.
