Now let's look at these terms one by one.

The distal sight is the point that lies farther away from the point of attachment.

Distal site is the opposite of proximal.

So the proximal site is the one that is closer to the limbs point of attachment.

Medial means the direction towards the midline.

So here would be the midline, right? for example, the medial ligament of the knee is near the inner surface of the leg.
