Do the femoral condyles articulate with the fibular condyles during flexion of the knee?
Adi S.
In the previous questions, we established that the posterior muscles of the knee are flexors of this hinge joint. As you would suspect, the quadriceps femoris will be a prime mover for knee extension/flexion. The distal attachment of the rectus femoris is the base of the patella and indirectly the tibia through the ligament.
