Match each stage of mitosis to its description: In this stage of mitosis, the chromosomes condense and the mitotic spindle begins to form. In this stage of mitosis, the nuclear envelope disintegrates and a microtubule from each pole attaches to one side of a duplicated pair of chromosomes. In this stage of mitosis, duplicated chromosome pairs align on an imaginary plane at the center of the cell. In this stage of mitosis, microtubules from each pole contract and pull duplicated pairs of chromosomes apart, sending one copy to each pole. In this stage of mitosis, duplicate chromosomes complete their journeys to opposite sides of the cells, the chromosomes begin to un-condense and nuclear envelopes begin to form around them.
