we're running an experiment on the effect of abiotic factors (soil salinity and pH) on plant species diversity. we tested at 2 different sites. we had 3 transects and 6 quadrats set up per site and got species richness. for the abiotic factors, we only got 1 soil sample per transect so 3 per site so we can average them. what statistical analysis can we use for the abiotic factors to see if there is a correlation between species richness and each abiotic factor? please explain..
