What is the function of CRISPR in bacteria? (why bacteria have CRISPR) Pick a gene (any gene you are interested in), and explain the main steps required to edit your gene. For example, Cystic Fibrosis is a disorder caused by a single mutation in one gene (CF gene), if I am interested in correcting the mutation in this gene to cure people who are born with Cystic Fibrosis, what are the main steps I would have to include? (you don't need to include technical details, just the main steps in the correct order). If you are working for an Ethics Committee, would you approve the use of CRISPR unrestricted? In other words, what concerns would you have?
