A generator, which is connented to an infinite busbar through two 132kV lines in parallel, each having a reactance of 70 ohms/phase, is delivering 1 p.u. to the infinite busbar. Determine the parameters of an equivalent circuit, consisting of a single machine connected to an infinite busbar through a reactance, which represent the abive system. a. pre-fault, b. when a three-phase symmetrical fault occurs halfway along one side, c. after the fault is cleared and one line isolated. If the generator internal voltage is 1.05 p.u. and the infinite bysbar voltage is 1 p.u. What is the maximum power transfer pre- fault, during the fault and post-fault? The generator data are as follows, rating 60 MW stbpower factor 0.9 lagging, transient reactance 0.3 p.u., inertia constant 3kWs/KVA

A transformer rated at 50 MVA and having a short circuit reactance of 0.01 p.u is connected to the bus bar of a generating station which is supplied through two 11 kV feeders each having an impedance of (1+j 3) Ω . One of the feeder is connected to the generating station using generator capacity of 35 MVA connected to its bus bars having a short circuit reactance of 0.15 p.u and other feeder to a generator with 30MVA and having a reactance of 0.25 p.u. Determine the MVA supplied to the fault in the event of a short circuit occurring between the secondary terminals of the transformer.
