Which of the following is a true statement? A. In a dihybrid cross of two heterozygous parents, the expected genotypes of the offspring would be 75% heterozygous and 25% homozygous recessive. B. In a dihybrid cross of two heterozygous parents, the expected genotypes of the offspring would be 25% homozygous dominant, 50% heterozygous, and 25% homozygous recessive. C. In a dihybrid cross of two heterozygous parents, the expected genotypes of the offspring would be 75% heterozygous and 25% homozygous dominant. D. In a dihybrid cross of two heterozygous parents, the expected genotypes of the offspring would be 100% heterozygous.

The phenotypic ratio is 85 of the A type and 15 of the a type (homozygous recessive). In a monohybrid cross between two heterozygotes, however, we would have predicted a 3:1 ratio of phenotypes. In other words, we would have expected to get 75 A-type and 25 a-type. Are our results different?

In a dihybrid cross, the predicted phenotype ratio is $9: 3: 3: 1 .$ The $^{"} 9^{\prime \prime}$ represents the proportion of plants expressing at least one dominant allele for both traits. How would you use test crosses to determine whether these plants are homozygous dominant or heterozygous for one or both genes?
