6. (2) A number of inherited human conditions fall into the class of diseases termed as lysosomal storage disorders. For example Tay-Sachs is a lysosomal storage disorder in which the gene that codes the protein hexosaminidase A is defective and the body can't make this enzyme. This enzyme would normally be found in the lysosome, without it different molecules build up in the lysosome, which eventually kills the cell. You are working with a group of cells that also have a lysosomal storage disorder. You know the enzyme that's missing from the lysosomes is being made, you can identify it in the cytosol. Briefly hypothesize what kind of mutation could be causing this disorder.
