Provide a possible explanation as to why this test identifies the presence of cytochrome c oxidase but no other oxidase types. This test only tests for the presence of cytochrome C oxidase, as it is only present in aerobic bacteria. Cytochrome oxidase cannot be found in anaerobes or facultative anaerobes.
