Hello, today we'll be looking at a mitosis question that is asking us about what is something that isn't happening during anapase.

In order for us to answer that question, we need to know what is happening during the different parts of the cell cycle.

So remember that the cell cycle begins during interface.

Distinct nucleus that is closed and within that nucleus we have very stringy loosely held uncompacted dna so the two things that we see here we see a closed nucleus so the nucleus is visible and the second thing that we notice is that stringy uncompacted dna when dna is stringy like that we call it chromatin next after interface is done, we enter mitosis.

And mitosis has these different four sections.

Let's take a look at prophase first.

One way that we know prophase begun is because there is no longer a nucleus, right? there is no circle there enclosed like there was in interface.

And another thing, notice that the dna is no longer stringy and uncompacted chromatin.
