To study cells with a light microscope different types of stains are usually available. why is it generally more useful to stain eukaryotic cells than prokaryotic cells?
Adi S.
Why do scientists stain cell and tissue samples before microscopy? Most unstained cells lack pigmentation, staining enables scientists to see and identify cellular structures. Stained cells look prettier under the microscope than unstained cells. Staining protocols make dirt and impurities on the glass slide disappear. Unstained cells are opaque, but staining protocols render cells transparent and allow light to pass through.
