You are the lead behavior analyst working in the home with a family that is complex and presents with multiple needs. Your primary responsibility is to provide family training to the mother for her 3-year-old daughter who is severely autistic, non-verbal, and engages in severe stereotypy for long periods of the day. The mother has a diagnosed mental health condition of depression and anxiety. She is treated by a psychiatrist one time per month. She usually keeps her appointments but has significant trouble following through on program recommendations that have been taught, often saying that she forgets what to do and that her daughter cries and she can't tolerate it when that occurs. As the behavior analyst, discuss how you will collaborate with others regarding the family behaviors you might track for the family: child and mother possible interventions you might offer ethical concerns that might arise for you as a behavior analyst.
