Moment of Inertia - Overview

In physics and engineering, the moment of inertia (MOI) of an object is a measure of its resistance to changes in its rotation. It is the analog of mass in rotational motion. The SI unit of moment of inertia is the kilogram metre squared, which is equal to the unit of angular momentum.
