Hi! My name is Aria Rotbart. I am a 3rd-year human biology major at UCSD with a minor in global health. I am on a pre-health track looking at a career in veterinary medicine. My entire life I have loved learning and loved to teach people about the things I care about. I volunteered at libraries helping kids to read, I led teaching groups for the younger kids at my local Pony Club and helped them to better understand horse care and prepare for their Pony Club tests, and I spent countless after school hours helping local school kids and also my lower classmen understand the materials being taught to them. As I entered college I found myself faced with a wealth of information I had yet to understand, but I fully engaged and embraced that lack of knowledge as an opportunity to push myself to learn more and expand my horizons. Now as I near the end of my college career I would love to be able to share that knowledge I have cultivated as well as inspire other students to be ambitious and to put in the hard work to understand a topic that is challenging to them. Knowledge is a powerful thing and I would love the opportunity to be able to share that with other like-minded academics.
