I have taught at the Junior High and Middle School Level for the past 19 years. During that time I have transitioned to using a blended learning and flipped classroom approach to my teaching to help students learned how to leverage the vast amount of resources available to them as students. I am the Math Department Chair at my school as well as serving on curriculum teams for my district. Additionally, I have been a private tutors for numerous students from Elementary School up to College Level Algebra for the past 15 years. I also have experience working with the University of Kansas, first as a teaching assistant during my college years where I was responsible for assisting students during open office hours, grading homework and tests, as well as creating homework assignments and answer keys. More recently, I was associated with the University of Kansas as they worked to develop a curriculum map for Mathematics to span K-12 math curriculum.
