Biography

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry and Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech. I am currently a fifth year PhD candidate in the Molecular Pharmacology Graduate Program at the University of Pittsburgh. My thesis work is focused on cancer cell biology. In my second year of graduate school, I was selected to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the intro course to my umbrella program, Foundations of Biomedical Science. My strengths are in Cellular Biology, however I have chemistry experience.
