Hello, everyone. I hope all is well. And today I will be helping you with the 10th problem of the Chapter 24 problems. And the question is asking, What is the layer of Maris time called between the Woody Stem and the bark? So how would attack? This problem is I'll try to draw a little diagram of the plant, so we'd have right here. So let's try this. So right here, we'd have the bark, and then we have right here, which is Woody the Woody stand. So it is asking you to identify this part right here. So for me, I would go by process of elimination. So the first answer is the quarter can be, um, which is right here. So obviously it's not Twins bark in the woody stem, so it cannot be a an answer. Okay, so let's just label this is the cork, and then we have the vascular kambia, which could possibly be this right around here. So with the answers that might be right, I always put a dot right by him to signal that it's a possible one and optical mirror system. Um, if you know anything about a topical Marissa. That's where primary growth is occurring and fir trees. The optical marrow stem is around the cork Kambia, so it be right before the cork. So this is where the optical Maris them would be. So it's not a plausible answer because it's after the bark. And not in between the Woody Stem and the bark, um, the zone of cell division. So the zone of cell division would occur between the cork and the African Marist. Um said that that's where it would be. So it's not between the Woody Stem and the bark. Under the pro can be a proceeding the bark. So right here the pro can be a proceeding. The bark that seems plausible because it's right before the bark and after the woody stem. So why wouldn't that be it? But the pro Kambia that yields the part of the plan, which is the Kambia and but and the bark is not but can be a so it's not going to be that. So what? Actually, it is. It is. The vascular can be, um So the vast candy, um, is the section right here so we can label it as vascular can be um so for me, how I would approach this is I'll just go Process of elimination also, what really helped me during this time to figure out what it waas was, uh, using one of the pictures in the book. Actually, this one was very helpful because it labels where everything is. And if you notice and you want to go through everything again, you could kind of see where everything is. And it's actually very helpful because you can identify all the parts of the plant that you need to. So you have the cork can be a which is right here and obviously in the optical Maris stem will yield. The court can be a CE. That's where this would be like right around here. And then you have the Zona cell division, which would be occurring around here. It'll be dividing out into ah, the different separate layers. And then you'll have the pro can be a proceeding the bark. But that's not where it be because it's not. It's giving way to Bark and Kambia and for the vascular Kambia, if you notice it, is this part right here, which is right between the wood and the bark. So I hope this video was very helpful. Thank you. How can I say
