00:01 All right, so chapter one, problem eight, asks us to roughly sketch out the biological hierarchy that we saw in figure 1 .3, and that goes from the biosphere down to the level of molecules.

00:14 And it wants us to have coral reefs as an ecosystem, a fish as an organism, its stomachs as the organ, and dna as the molecule.

00:24 So let's start off with the biosphere.

00:27 So this should be the easiest one.

00:28 So the biosphere is always basically going to be the entire globe because it's everywhere where there is life.

00:39 And so it's all of life and wherever life resides.

00:57 And this would be the same for any other question unless they are.

01:10 The next one, level two, is going to be the ecosystem, which they already told us would be the coral reefs.

01:23 So in our coral reef ecosystem, we're going to have our planet that we had before, and we're going to look in at a certain region of the planet.

02:08 We're going to have maybe some underwater caves because, remember, it's not only the living things, but also the non -living things.

02:47 So this is a whole ecosystem, a lot of organisms living around each other and the living spaces that they use.
