Hey guys, so today we're going to talk about chemical reactions.

So there are three main parts to a chemical reaction.

In red we have our reactants.

The green means yield, that arrow.

It's kind of like an equal sign in math.

And then blue we have our products.

So basically, the reactant is going to go into the reaction, and it's going to be rearranged to make the product.

So below i have an example using nitrogen and hydrogen to make ammonia.

Nitrogen plus hydrogen is going to make the ammonia because the different molecules combine to make a new product.

So it's safe to say reactants always change when they get put into a reaction.

The product, even though it has the same number of atoms and the same molecules, it's going to be completely different because they're going to be bonded in different ways to make a new molecule...
