Photosystem 1 is a little bit further down, and it was just discovered first, and that's why it's called photosystem 1.

The back of photosystem 2, this contains chlorophyll, which absorbs the solar energy from the sun, and what happens is it ends up exciting some electrical, that are funneled down here in the middle of ps2, and those electrons will get excited and go up to a higher energy level.
