The bmi, how it varies with weight and height.
00:05
So we know that it varies directly with weight, and it varies inversely with the square of the height.
00:15
And it wants us to come up with this full equation.
00:17
So we already have most of the equation.
00:19
We just seem to find that k value.
00:21
So what i did is i picked on the chart, there's an indication of 5 foot, 6 inches, and what it matches for weight, is a weight range from 118 to 154 and it gives a bmi of, i think it's 19.
00:49
Oh dear.
00:49
So the bmi is from 19 to 24 .9.
00:59
So what i did to kind of help estimate this, because if it's the same formula throughout, i just found a halfway point for the weight and a halfway point for the bmi and then use those to solve for k.
01:12
So my halfway point for bmi would be 21 .95 and that's going to equal k times my weight...
