Problem 6 Easy Difficulty

If the magnitude of the magnetic force on a proton is $F$ when it is moving at $15.0^{\circ}$ with respect to the field, what is the magnitude of the force (in terms of $F$ ) when this charge is moving at $30.0^{\circ}$ with respect to the field?

So we know that the magnetic force on a charged particle is going to be equal to the absolute value of the charge times the velocity of the charge times the magnitude of the magnetic field time sign. If I We know that at this point the force is going to be directly proportional to the sign of five s so we can say that f divided by F prime He's going to be equal to sign of fire divided by sign of five prime. We know that we can solve for F prime and say I have prime is going to be ableto f time's sign of five prime divided by sign of fire. And this is going to be equal Teo F. Sign of 30 degrees divided by sign of 15 degrees. So we can say that force final is going to be equal to 1.93 times force and national. That would be our final answer. That is the end of the solution. Thank you for watching
