Let's take a look at a question.

So $8 .96 seems like an important number.

So we've got up another percentage.

Problem similar to the ones that we've done before let's take a second and let's diagram this out we're going to make a rectangle that represents our initial value and so our initial value is going to be that 14875 and we can write what's the percentage that this corresponds with well it's our whole rectangle so that be 100 percent and then we're going to go a certain amount higher so maybe i'll write this in blue this will be my 8 96 is going to be how much we go higher so i'm going to add on to my rectangle 8 .96 cents and i'm going to relate that to some kind of percentage down here.

Well, now we begin to set up our ratio.

So we can relate anything that we'd like here, but we'd like at least something to do with this p value.
