Synchronization between Use and Manufacturing with Inventory Control Processes
Figure 3.2.3.1 discussed stocking with different inventory control processes for temporal synchronization between supply and demand. Using that kind of process chart, represent decoupling of procurement or production from demand for the two examples discussed with Figure 3.4.5.3, namely:
1. Manufacturing throughout the year to meet demand occurring mainly at a holiday time
2. Manufacturing in large batches where demand is continuous; delivery can be made from storage
