Um, this is a little picture of an axe on at resting potential, and we're gonna be talking about, um, theon a concentration inside the excellent and outside are So, um, inside an axe on that resting potential. We have a good amount of potassium I owns inside and sodium. I owns on the outside. And why is this? Oh, well, we have a high concentration of sodium on the outside so that when we have an electrical impulse running down the axle, um, um, the sodium will rush into the axle on d, polarizing it. And, um, help move the impulse along down the axle. If sodium, there's a high concentration of sodium in on the inside of the axle on, um, the way that the i d.
