Hello everybody, this is ricky, and today i'm going to be walking through question number 13 from chapter 37.
00:07
All right, so we have to try to correct some match to pairs, and so let's just go through the left column and think about what we know of each of these particular brain agents.
00:21
So cerebrum, it's the outermost part of the brain, and it is in control of thinking and partly memory, part of the brain, partly, sensory controls conscious thoughts.
00:37
So the thalamus, it's a sensory relay station that takes projections from the spinal cord or from other sensory organs and sends them directly to the cortices for proper analysis.
01:03
You have the hypothalamus.
01:07
This is below the thalamus, and it's under it is the thermostat in control of homeostasis.
01:22
And thermostat is kind of like that analogy that we like to think of when i think of that thalamus.
01:29
Cerebellum is coordinating motor output, and this works through like a feedback loop type system.
01:42
Medulla, this is in control of unconscious processes...
