a. Find the average inductor current (I) and the peak-to-peak inductor current (i).
Ans: Average = 1A, peak-to-peak = 0.5A
b. Find the maximum inductor current (lMax) and minimum inductor current (IMin).
Ans: Maximum = 1.25A, Minimum = 0.75A
c. Sketch the inductor current, labeling the time in seconds and the magnitude in amperes.
d. Sketch the capacitor current, labeling the time in seconds and the magnitude in amperes.
e. Sketch the diode current (ip), labeling the time in seconds and the magnitude in amperes.
f. By observing the inductor current waveforms in Q.1 and Q.2, compare the effect of load change on the average inductor current (I) and inductor ripple current (i). Do they remain the same? If not, do they increase or decrease?
