what is a response to the following statement: I definitely feel like this type of technology weakens our memory in regards to remembering certain pieces of information such as phone numbers or addresses. Personally I remember a few important ones like my mom and my grandma, however my brothers I don't know theirs by memory. However I do remember area codes and my own zip code and a handful of addresses. Although I think this type of technology definitely has an impact on our memory, people always used to have address books and phone books so I wouldn't say its solely our phones thats caused this, however your phone is always in your pocket and not everyone would carry around their address book. Its a little conflicting because the more you look something up on your phone the more likely you will remember it
,
so I wouldn't say that phones have destroyed our memorys, but they do have somewhat of an impact because I think it makes people not try as much to remember something as they would before phones.
