From these given details answer the following questions:
(i) Find the value of $(\frac{\partial P}{\partial T})_v$ [5]
(ii) If volume expansivity and isothermal compressibility are assumed constant, find the pressure generated by heating at constant volume from $20^\circ C$ and 1 bar to $30^\circ C$ [7]
(iii) (iii) the change in volume if temperature and pressure change from $20^\circ C$ and 1 bar to $0^\circ C$ and 10 bar [8].

A binary liquid mixture consists of 60 mol% fructose and 40 mol% benzoic acid. At 423K, the vapour pressure of fructose and benzoic acid are 15.2 atm and 9.8 atm respectively.
Calculate the total pressure and equilibrium composition of the vapour phase. Assume that the mixture behaves like an ideal solution.
Prepare a graph of P vs $x_1$ and P vs $y_1$ at those conditions.
NB: $x_1$ values from 0 to 1 with an interval of 0.2 can be used.
