Assume that you are a crime investigator handling a snatch case that a woman, after closing her Yammy restaurant was approached, and snatched her purse, by a very tall young (seemingly in his 20s) man in front of the Yammy restaurant located on Johnson Avenue at around 2 a.m. on February 1st, 2023. You could narrow down the range of the suspects within three individuals because two CCTVs capturing the Johnson Avenue scenes could record the three individuals passing on the Johnson Avenue between midnight and 3 a.m. of the incident day. However, the victim was unable to identify the real culprit among the three, and no direct evidence was found to link the snatch theft to the real culprit, aside from the CCTV recording, which only shows the three individuals walking on Johnson Avenue at the time, without capturing the actual robbery scene. Noticeably, one of the three suspects has been wanted by the police for a more serious crime of robbery. Therefore, the suspect is currently under custody, while the two other suspects were released with further future interrogation opportunities.
