What are the Methods to Prevent and Treat Immune Rejection?
Prevention and treatment strategies include:
- Immunosuppressive Therapy: Use of medications that suppress the immune response, such as calcineurin inhibitors, corticosteroids, and monoclonal antibodies.
- Tissue Matching: Ensuring the compatibility of donor and recipient tissues as closely as possible, often through MHC matching.
