00:01 In this question, we're told that a trans membrane has these following features that are noted, and we want to know the following amino acid sequences from a membrane spanning protein, which means it goes across the membrane, and we have quite a long list, but essentially it starts with the nitrogen terminal or the end terminal, and then we have a bunch of amino acids, and then we have the c terminal at the other end.
00:24 Based on this above information, we want to indicate the portion of the amino acid sequence that will be inside of the membrane, serve as the cytosolic ankle, and serve as the extracellular anchor.

00:35 So essentially when we want a cytosolic anchor, we need basic amino acids as they'll have favorable interactions with the acidic environment in the cytosol, or the slightly acidic environment.
00:48 And so the first segment of this very long amino acid, which i'll simply just write out the correct segment that we want, this segment here would be considered the cytosolic anchor.
